Antique Mission Santa Barbara BelL

100-year-old bronze Mission Santa Barbara mini bell replica. Lovely, clear, high pitched ring.

PLEASE NOTE: Bell has a casting flaw (small hole) located to the right of center on the front.

 3 inches tall, 2 3/8 inches diameter. Luscious patina.

Designed and cast by Mrs. A.S.C. Forbes of Los Angeles between 1914 and 1937, this is a replica of one of the bells hanging at Mission Santa Barbara, founded in 1786. Forbes visited many of the missions of the southwest and sketched what she could see of the bells hanging in the towers.
