ABOUT

As a native of Southern California, I have always been captivated by the rich history of the American West and its lasting impact on contemporary lifestyles. Over the past few decades, my fascination with the mysteries surrounding old bells and their enchanting sounds has transformed into a passionate pursuit. I have collected hundreds of these historic gems, dedicating myself to designing and handcrafting display stands that pay homage to our storied past. In 2010, I created Raincross Craftworks to offer my unique bell stands, but recently skewed the business to offer my vast collections of antique and vintage mission-style bell, hence the renaming to California Mission Bells.

Among the treasures in my collection, I hold a deep appreciation for the old bells from a forgotten foundry in Guadalajara, Mexico. Their incredibly decorative and imaginative designs stand out, reflecting the vibrant cultural legacy from which they originate. I believe I may have amassed the largest collection of these exquisite bells, and I take great pleasure in sharing them with new caretakers who also cherish their beauty and history. Each bell tells a story, and I am thrilled to pass on these narratives to others who value their artistry and heritage.

Over the years, I've created numerous bell displays for Riverside residents and businesses wanting to express their civic pride, as well as bell collectors nationwide. I've been commissioned for raincross bell stands for Mission Inn weddings, for the U.S. Marine Corps Recruiting Station Riverside on March Air Reserve Base, and recently completed an 8-foot tall raincross bell display for a real estate developer’s new project.

I hope you enjoy my offerings and work. Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
