Riverside Raincross Bell Display

Handcrafted in my Temecula workshop, here's a one-of-a kind Riverside Raincross mission-style bell display in the design made famous by the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in Riverside, California- a combination of the trapezoid-shaped mass bell stand design used by Father Junipero Serra (founder of the Spanish missions of California) topped by the double-armed cross to which the Navajos prayed for rain.

25 1/2 inches tall, 19 1/2 inches wide, 8 ¾ inches deep.

FEATURES:
• Premium grade, kiln-dried California Redwood
• Dramatic distressed modeling
• Aged raised grain effect
• Dark warm brown coloring
• Soft sheen polyurethane finish
• Hand wrought iron nail accents
• Aged leather accents securing bell and on clapper for ringing
• Felt feet bottoms to protect your furniture

BELL INFORMATION:
Rare, handcrafted bronze bell cast in 1950s’ Mexico in a rustic Spanish Colonial style. Its ornate surface design was created by pressing found objects into the walls of the sand mold. This artisanal process ensures that each bell is one-of-a-kind; when the bell is extracted, it destroys the mold, making every bell a distinctive treasure.
